It's about a year old but still quick funny. The first time I saw Red State, I couldn't tell if it was a parody or not. That's the amazing thing about creationists. The loopy ones are almost indistinguishable from a joke.
I'm a mid 30's-ish secular humanist who has decided to leave my previous career as a computer nerd and tech support monkey to pursue a degree in physics from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I randomly muse from 2 different blogs. From "The Ardent Skeptic" I commonly rant on topics concerning religion and other weird, superstitious news stories. " On "Throwing off the bowlines" I will be chronicling my adventures on campus and in my classes and labs.
